Below are a handful of pieces that I have written which I feel represent my voice as a writer. They range through a multitude of genres and content or story types.
The following two pieces are two short-short stories which are based within the science-fiction genre. L'hibiscus Morts delves into the relationship between a father and son living on an insland in the Caribbean, and the impending re-emergence of a major figure in their lives. The Great Grudge... is a tale wherein two old friends meet again in a decrepit bar after years of strife.
Here are five pieces of poetry from a catalog that I have written over the years. They're all of different subject matters and form, so please feel free to just click on a random piece and enjoy.
This last set of pieces are all of the non-fiction form and are inspired by various moments in my life. On Success is literally about my own viewpoint on the idea of success. While C B and the Braided Whoopi along with Loving You Is Not Easy are pieces which explore characters who have impacted my life and how those impacts linger in me psychologically.
